Structures i

FALL 2022

In Architectural Engineering I, first-year grad students join second-year undergrad students in a class to learn about fundamental structural principles.

Throughout the semester, students learn mostly about framing types, beam sizing, and column loads. At the end of the semester, students are to pair up to design a small mixed-use building in State College and to also design the structural grid as well as determine the accurate size all its members.

See above for the final submission of our small engineering project.
