FALL 2022

In Architectural Engineering I, first-year grad students join second-year undergrad students in a class to learn about fundamental structural principles.

​

Throughout the semester, students learn mostly about framing types, beam sizing, and column loads. At the end of the semester, students are to pair up to design a small mixed-use building in State College and to also design the structural grid as well as determine the accurate size all its members.
